The basic information needed to set up V2

You’ll want your contacts to have a great experience from the moment you start building your relationship with them.

In this document we cover the basic information with supplementary notes that is needed need to set up #V2 for you.

Notes:

Your Timezone - To set the server timezone so that emails get sent at the right time for you

Who will the emails be sent from?
First Name
Last Name

What is their email address?
Will this be the same email address to use for replies?
E.g. You might send emails from john.smith@example.com but if a contact replies to your email the reply will get sent to replies@example.com (where you have a support team)

What is your support email address?
If someone needs support is the support email address different to the FROM: email address. This will be displayed on the contact’s ‘manage options page’

What is the URL for your main website?

What is your support URL?
Do you have a different URL for your support system? This will be displayed on the contact’s ‘manage options page’

What is your business address (in 5 lines) ?
It is a legal requirement that commercial emails include the address of your business. Apart from that it helps your contacts feel more trust towards you. We input this in your Persona Details so the details can be called automatically in templates and messages using short-codes.
